Stephen Zunes, a professor of politics at the University of San Francisco whose work centers on the Middle East, has watched policy and public opinion tilt under pressure for decades.
     Jennifer Bing, a veteran link in the chain between activism and education, brings a practitioner’s sense of what it takes to mobilize,  inform, and disrupt comfortable narratives. And Metta Spencer asks: what does the trajectory of public opinion actually look like when the human stakes are so high?
